Halff created an extensive GIS inventory of each signalized intersections within the Multimodal Transportation District and surrounding areas for the City of Tallahassee Traffic Management. This project provided a geodatabase of the intersections throughout Leon County. As a result, engineers and technicians can address issues at intersections in real time.
The GIS data surveyed for this project was delivered as a user-friendly tool that can be accessed in the office or the field. This allows the owner to update, change or manipulate the data as needed.
Approach inventory, lane inventory, signal inventory, pedestrian crosswalk inventory, pedestrian detector inventory and feature inventory were collected during the project.
